Founded in 1986 in Northern California, Voodoo Lab (originally Digital Music Corp) is known for creating not only great effects pedals with a fair price and a vintage vibe, they also make, arguably, the most robust effects pedal power supply currently in production.
Originally, Voodoo Lab focused on pedal-based gear while the “Digital Music Corp” brand concentrated on switching systems and the like. Currently, all products are branded as “Voodoo Lab,” which offers a wide range of effects pedals, power supplies, and rack gear.
Voodoo Lab effects pedals are focused on creating classic effects pedal sounds from the late 60’s and 70’s. Current offerings include Tremolo, Sparkle Drive (a dual clean/overdrive combo), Proctavia (octave fuzz), Superfuzz (Bosstone clone), Microvibe, Sparkle Drive Mod, Giggity, and Wahzoo. All pedals features true bypass and quality components.
In addition to their classic pedals, Voodoo Lab offers a number of effects pedal power supplies to meet a wide variety of needs. The flagship power supply is the Pedal Power 2, though they now offer power supplies geared to AC powered pedals as well. They also offer pedal switching systems for players interested in removing effects from the their signal chain.
